## Synopsis

Double Helix (2026) is a Chinese-Singaporean co-production boys' love miniseries created by 蓝淋 for GagaOOLala. Across twelve hour-long episodes, two former lovers, Lu Feng (Ayden Sng) and Cheng Yichen (Lü Sitong), are torn apart by family and fate, then years later meet again in a workplace where one holds power over the other. The engine of the story is their attempt to keep distance while a love they cannot escape keeps pulling them back, with misunderstandings and old wounds resurfacing at every turn. Flashbacks to their earlier school life frame the present-day tension, and supporting roles from Fa Xuange, He Jiashu and Li Keyi add rival loyalties and family pressure. The tone is melancholic and melodramatic, with aching longing, tragedy and emotional volatility rendered in intimate close-ups and quiet confrontations. Fans of Guang Ling Qu and Eternal Love will find resonance in its reunion romance and star-crossed sorrow, and the single-season run makes it a self-contained emotional ride that holds together from start to finish.
