## Synopsis

My Ribdiculous Reincarnation (2026) is a Japanese anime isekai parody series broadcast on Nippon TV and produced with studios including Qzil.la and S.o.K. Its protagonist, a man stuck in an endless cycle of reincarnation, refuses to wait for the heroic roles he is supposed to fill and instead keeps rebirthing into ridiculous forms, from a hermit crab to a vegetable to an explosive. Voice cast members Atsushi Abe, Mao Ichimichi, Daisuke Namikawa and Toshihiko Seki bring a rapid-fire comic energy to the many short, self-contained vignettes that make up its single season of twelve episodes, each running about twenty-three minutes. The engine of the show is the gap between the fantasy adventure the protagonist expects and the undignified existence he actually gets, with every episode finding new mileage in the indignity of a new body. The tone is breezy, silly and self-mocking, with the sharp comic timing of a lighthearted anime comedy. Fans of KONOSUBA and The Devil Is a Part-Timer will find a similar kinship in its irreverent affection for isekai conventions and its willingness to let the absurd carry the story.
