## Synopsis

Boy, with Caution (2026) is a South Korean miniseries created for Heavenly, a Korean romantic drama spanning a single eight-episode run of thirty-minute chapters. Disgraced high school teacher Jang Ki-woo (Ryu Se-il) finds comfort in an anonymous chat partner, unaware that the troubled student behind the messages, Lee Hyun-jae (Ha Jung-hoon), is growing closer to him inside his own school. The engine of the story is a secret identity: every private exchange deepens a bond that could destroy the teacher if it were discovered, while the school hierarchy and its prejudice against gay people press in from every side. Lee Jung-chan and Jeong Si-wan appear among the principal cast as figures tied to the school's hidden pressures. Each episode turns on a new revelation about who is watching and who is being watched, and the story is told as one continuous arc. The tone is tender, melancholic and tense, with healing and longing carried by quiet scenes and unspoken fear. Viewers who enjoy the secret-identity romance of Love Alarm, the institutional pressure of Sky Castle, and the queer longing of Oh My Venus will find a familiar emotional register here, set in present-day South Korea and built for patient, attentive viewing.
