## Synopsis

Corazón de oro (2026) is a Mexican telenovela-style drama series produced by TelevisaUnivision Mexico and created by Pedro Ortiz de Pinedo. Luz Rueda López (Mayrín Villanueva), a taco stand owner, is offered a job and a place to live at the Arango-Nova estate by the patriarch Antonio (Sergio Kleiner), who reveals a hidden truth about her past. Her daughter Catalina (Gala Montes) is drawn to the luxury of the household and, fearing Luz will lose her place in the will, commits a murder that sets the story in motion. Luz takes the blame to protect her daughter, and the series follows the fallout across the estate, where Miguel Ángel Arango-Nova (Gabriel Soto) and the rest of the family circle around secrets and rivalries. The engine is a working class mother pitted against a powerful family, with each episode built from confrontations, hidden motives and small reversals. Shaped as a single 80-episode season, the series moves through heightened melodrama with a sincere, emotional register. Its class tension and moral dilemmas recall Rubí and Dallas, and fans of classic telenovelas will find the same mix of inheritance intrigue and romantic entanglement familiar. Set in contemporary Mexico, it is an intimate, emotionally charged drama about loyalty, sacrifice and the fight for justice.
