## Synopsis

Moria (2026) is an Argentine biographical drama series created by Javier van de Couter for Netflix. Moria Casan, a flamboyant television personality, plays a version of herself, transforming her own life story into a symbolic spectacle of fame, controversy and ceaseless reinvention. Cecilia Roth and Griselda Siciliani appear among the principal cast alongside Sofia Gala Castiglione and Marco Antonio Caponi, and the eight-episode limited series moves through the public highs and scandals of a performer who keeps remaking herself for an audience. Rather than a plain chronology, the show stages key moments as theatrical set pieces, so each episode feels like a chapter of a provocative stage act. The engine is the tension between the private woman and the persona the press and public demand, with glamour, camp and sharp wit colliding with vulnerability and defiance. Its tone is bold, playful and self-aware, carrying both celebration and critique of celebrity culture. Fans of Halston and Vergüenza will find resonance in its stylized portrait of a famous performer's public image. The overall effect is a glossy, confrontational character piece that treats fame itself as a costume to be worn, discarded and worn again.
