## Synopsis

Adult Wednesday Addams (2013-2015) is an American dark comedy series created by Mike Bernstein and Melissa Hunter, with Melissa Hunter playing the grown-up Wednesday, the deadpan daughter of The Addams Family now living as an adult. Hunter's Wednesday is the principal figure, and the supporting cast includes Hunter Cope as Brian and Megan Rosati as Mackenzie's Friend, who drift in and out of her bleak, mordant orbit. Its engine is simple: a macabre heroine navigating modern adult life with morbid poise and a refusal to bend to ordinary social expectations. Across thirteen very short episodes of roughly three minutes over two seasons, the series plays out as a string of brisk, self-contained sketches rather than one long arc. The mood is sardonic, deadpan and gothic, with dry absurdity drawn from the Addams family's sinister charm. Set in a contemporary American present, it sits in the vein of The Addams Family and Wednesday for viewers who enjoy macabre humor and offbeat, dark wit.
