## Synopsis

Just Alice (2025) is a Colombian romantic dramedy miniseries created for Netflix, with a 19-episode single season running about 40 minutes per episode. Verónica Orozco plays Alicia, a woman who secretly marries both a famous writer and a former priest, with Cony Camelo as Alejo and Sebastián Carvajal as Pablo among the principal players alongside Michel Brown and Julián Román. The engine of the show is a juggling act: every episode pushes Alicia to hide one marriage from the other, and each lie demands another lie to hold the arrangement together. Its shape is a single continuing story rather than a case-of-the-week format, so the tension of concealment builds steadily across the whole run. Set in a contemporary Colombian milieu, the series blends soap opera melodrama with comic misunderstandings and quick romantic reversals. The tone is breezy and irreverent, with a glossy romantic surface that keeps the emotional stakes personal and close. Fans of Jane the Virgin, Ugly Betty and the telenovela Hasta que el dinero nos separe will find resonance in its mix of secrets, romance and comic strain.
