## Synopsis

Blue Skies (2026-present) is a United States faith and family drama and mystery series created by David Straiton for UP Faith & Family. National park investigator Jodi Larsen (Scarlet Hunter) teams up with a lost dog named Blue to solve mysteries across the wilderness, forging an unexpected bond along the way. Her brother Bill Larsen (Shaughnessy Redden) and park colleagues such as Ryan Miller (Markian Tarasiuk) and Nora Esposito (Veronica Long) surround her as the cases draw her into danger and into the small-town secrets of the region. The engine is simple and concrete: a missing person or a stranded hiker, a trail of clues through rough terrain, and a dog whose instincts prove as valuable as any badge. Each episode unfolds as a self-contained case of the week, with the broader arc of the two leads gradually healing from personal losses. The series is an easy, warm watch with a hopeful, gentle register, wholesome enough for family viewing. Fans of Lassie, Heartland and Father Brown will find resonance in its blend of outdoor adventure, animal companionship and uplifting mystery.
