## Synopsis

Los hilos del pasado (2025) is a US-produced Spanish-language telenovela created by José Alberto Castro and Delia Fiallo for Univision. Renowned fashion designer Carolina Guillén (Yadhira Carrillo) runs a demanding fashion house, hardened by a past in which she was forced to give up a baby alone and without support. When a young model named Cristina Miranda (Bárbara López) rises to stardom under Carolina's cruel treatment, Cristina falls in love with Carolina's stepson Carlos Navarro (Emmanuel Palomares), and their romance leads to an unexpected pregnancy. Before Cristina can share the news, Carolina fires her without realizing she is the daughter she abandoned. The engine of the series is the slow pull of that hidden connection, played out through boardroom clashes, family rivalries, and romantic entanglements inside the glamorous and cutthroat world of high fashion. Sixty episodes of forty-two minutes each make up a single continuing story rather than standalone cases. The tone is melodramatic and emotionally intense, with betrayal, longing, and class tension at its core. Fans of Cuna de lobos, Destilando amor and Yo soy Betty, la fea will find resonance in its soap opera conventions and heightened romantic drama.
