## Synopsis

The Predator of Seville (2026) is a Spanish and American true crime docuseries created for Netflix, presented as a three-episode limited series of roughly forty-nine minutes each. Its focus is Manuel Blanco, who for years was known among international students as the friendly guide Manu White, organising cheap trips across Spain. The series follows the case that came to light when several young women began to connect experiences of abuse that had seemed unrelated, and it builds its engine from their accounts, the slow work of recognising a pattern, and the gap between a warm public persona and private conduct. Each episode unfolds as a documentary investigation, moving through testimony, reconstruction and the institutional reckoning that follows. The tone is sober, unsensational and heavy, treating survivors with dignity while the atmosphere stays tense and uncomfortable. Its themes of trust, betrayal and the courage to speak sit at the centre of the storytelling. Viewers who admired the victim-centred investigations of The Keepers or the layered court-of-public-opinion structure of Making a Murderer will find a similar resonance here, alongside the cultural reach of Tiger King for those drawn to real people behind a cheerful facade. The series suits adults ready for serious material about abuse and accountability.
