## Synopsis

Marble Hornets (2009-2011) is a United States found footage horror webseries created by Troy Wagner, Joseph DeLage and Tim Sutton. Assembled from video diary clips uploaded in episodes, it follows Jay Merrick (Troy Wagner), a film student whose attempt to make a student project turns into a search for his missing friend Alex Kralie (Joseph DeLage), with Tim Wright (Tim Sutton) and Brian Thomas (Brian Haight) drawn into the investigation. Its engine is the accumulation of unsettling footage: each batch of recovered tapes reveals a tall faceless figure lurking at the edges of frames, and the characters chase answers through old recordings and fragmented evidence. Spanning two seasons and eighty-one episodes, it is a serialized web series built from grainy handheld camera work, with a slow burn, creeping paranoia and a dread-filled atmosphere. Drawing on the Slender Man legend that grew up in online forums, it sits in the tradition of online horror mythos and will resonate with fans of The Blair Witch Project and Paranormal Activity who enjoy fragmented, documentary-style scares.
