## Synopsis

El Nos El Tani (2026-present) is an Egyptian period comedy created for ON, a wartime caper series with a strong historical texture. Ahmed Amin leads as a cunning con man who must pull his old crew back together and pose as a spy for the Germans against the British in 1942 Egypt. His goal is simple and personal: secure a fresh identity for his son and slip free of colonial pursuit. Each stretch of the story is built from quick deceptions, double crosses, and improvised disguises set against cramped cafes, smuggling routes, and the tense bureaucracy of an occupied city. Supporting players Asmaa Aboul Yazeed, Sedky Sakhr, and Abdelrahman Mohamed fill out the crew, sharpening the sly banter that drives the show. The series runs across two seasons of fifteen episodes each, with a story that continues from one season to the next. Its tone blends sharp humour with wartime anxiety, so fans of Allo Allo and Hogan's Heroes will find the same appetite for farce under occupation, while viewers who enjoy Lupin's crafty schemes will recognize the appeal.
