## Synopsis

Petak Pet is a Bulgarian-language comedy series that premiered in 2015 and consists of a single episode, presented as a monologue show starring Kitodar Todorov. Todorov performs in front of the camera, slipping into a succession of personifications, each embodying a distinct type of Bulgarian mentality. There is no ensemble and no ongoing plot; the engine of each segment is the performer's shifting persona and the escalating logic of his rant as it pokes at everyday habits, bureaucratic reflexes and the peculiar workings of national politics. The format is a stripped-down satirical sketch built around a single voice, so the comedy relies on timing, physical transformation and a steady supply of twists that turn a familiar complaint into an absurd revelation. The tone is sardonic and irreverent, with a deadpan undercurrent that invites viewers to laugh and then reflect on how ridiculous public life can be. Set in the present day of Bulgaria, it sits within a tradition of television satire that rewards viewers who know the local context. Fans of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Da Ali G Show and The Day Today will find a kindred appetite for pointed, character-driven commentary on national life. Its brief runtime makes it a quick, sharp watch rather than a binge.
