## Synopsis

Alkhallat+: The Series (2026-present) is a Saudi anthology comedy series created by Ali Kalthami for Netflix. Produced by Telfaz11 and built as a self-contained run of four standalone stories, it follows a rotating set of ordinary underdogs: an anxious teen, a clueless security guard, a desperate filmmaker and a tongue-tied poet. Principal cast includes Mohammed Aldokhei, Fahad Al-Mutairi, Ziyad Al-Amri and Umar Qadi, with Ali Kalthami also appearing. Each episode runs about forty-three minutes and drops its protagonist into an absurdly chaotic desert situation, where the comedy grows from mismatched expectations and everyday pressure. The engine is simple: a small, ill-equipped person tries to get through an escalating predicament with dignity intact. Its tone is sardonic and deadpan, with sharp satire of local social habits and a warm, recognizable Saudi cultural identity running through every episode. Fans of Black Mirror, Easy and Lol: Last One Laughing Arabia will find resonance in its mix of standalone structure and irreverent, understated humor. The single season of four episodes gives it a compact, breezy feel that rewards a quick sitting.
