## Synopsis

The Duke's Son Claims He Won't Love Me Yet Showers Me with Adoration (2026) is a Japanese animated romantic comedy series created in Japan and broadcast across a wide network of Asahi regional stations, with TV Asahi among its carriers. Its single season of twelve episodes, each about twenty-three minutes long, is a complete, self-contained run. Cheerful noblewoman Elsa (voiced by Yui Ishikawa) is suddenly wed to reserved duke-to-be Julius (voiced by Soma Saito), and the two strangers must navigate a political marriage neither expected to feel anything for. The engine of each episode is small, concrete friction: awkward misunderstandings, household routines in a noble estate, and sweet gestures that gradually reveal affection beneath a formal, guarded surface. Supporting characters including Sophia Eukrainen (Mariko Kouda) and Lucas Eukrainen (Daisuke Namikawa) add family pressure and warmth. The register is light, flustered and tender, set in a fantastical court world. Fans of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and Ascendance of a Bookworm will find resonance in its blend of courtly setting and romantic comedy.
