## Synopsis

The Bad Guys: The Series (2025-present) is an American animated comedy prequel created by Katherine Nolfi, Ben Glass, Shane Lynch, Elizabeth Chun, Kyel White, Bret Haaland and Christo Stamboliev for Netflix, produced by DreamWorks Animation Television. Wolf, voiced by Michael Godere, and Snake, voiced by Chris Diamantopoulos, lead a crew of anthropomorphic animal criminals that also includes Shark (Ezekiel Ajeigbe), Piranha (Raul Ceballos) and Tarantula (Mallory Low). The series traces how this band first set out to break into the bad guy business, so each episode is a self-contained caper built from clumsy schemes, improvised plans and comic reversals. Tiffany Fluffit (Zehra Fazal) and other supporting figures add friction and warmth to the gang's antics. Set before the events of the hit films, the show keeps a light, breezy register with plenty of slapstick and banter aimed at younger viewers. Its tone is cheerful and irreverent rather than dark, and its family-friendly heists recall the lovable roguish energy of Despicable Me and the animal-driven charm of Zootopia. Fans of animated family caper comedies will find it an easy, bright watch. Netflix's network placement and a two-season run so far frame it as an accessible kids' comedy with a strong comic ensemble.
