## Synopsis

Half In The Bag (2011-present) is an American comedy series created by Mike Stoklasa and Jay Bauman. Mike (Mike Stoklasa) and Jay (Jay Bauman), two VCR repairmen, are the engine of the show: they run a scam on an elderly man for his fortune, but their plotting keeps getting derailed by long, rambling discussions about movies and by eccentric side adventures. Rich Evans (Rich) supports the cast as a principal character. The show has run for sixteen seasons, with episodes around eleven minutes long, and each installment is built from short bursts of deadpan banter and offbeat detours rather than a single continuing arc. Its tone is breezy, absurd, and lo-fi, with a homespun cult-comedy sensibility that rewards viewers who enjoy the friendship between its two leads. Fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! will find a similar appetite for irreverent riffing and low-budget invention. The format suits short sessions and repeat viewing, making it an easy pick for fans of offbeat comedy.
