## Synopsis

Dear Killer Nannies (2026) is an Argentine-Colombian-American limited series created by Sebastian Marroquin, Pablo Farina and Sebastián Ortega for Hulu and Disney+. Adapted from the story of Juan Pablo Escobar, the drama follows a young Juan Pablo, son of cartel kingpin Pablo Escobar, as he is raised in an atypical household surrounded by hitmen who work as his nannies. Janer Villareal and Miguel Tamayo play the character across his youth, while John Leguizamo appears as Pablo Escobar Gaviria, the father the boy idolizes as a benefactor. Marroquin also voices the narrator who recounts the memories. The engine of the story is the slow erosion of a child's loyalty as he learns, piece by piece, that the man he admires is a criminal, and the mounting weight of violence that surrounds his daily life. Each of the eight episodes of this single-season run moves through childhood scenes and recollections of the cartel years. The tone is tense and melancholic, with a wistful, bittersweet edge, and the telling recalls the cold realism of Narcos and the intimate family pressures of Griselda. Set in the Medellin cartel era of 1980s Colombia, it suits viewers drawn to true crime and narco sagas.
