## Synopsis

Love After Addiction (2026) is a Chinese boys' love romance miniseries created for GTV and GagaOOLala, a twelve-episode, thirty-minute limited series. Shamed actor You Qi (Lin Fengsong) uses his insomnia as a trap to draw a former high school classmate closer, and his calculated game slowly turns into a real and messy addiction. Yang Meng (Chen Wen) sits at the center of the reunion, while Xu Che (Wang Peiwei) and Ye Ran (Hu Heran) add further romantic and social tension around the pair. The engine of the story is the gap between a planned seduction and the emotional dependence that grows from it, played out through quiet late night conversations, reunion awkwardness, and the pressure of a public reputation already damaged. Episodes move between intimate confessions and lighter stretches of comic business that some viewers find forced. The series is a sequel-adjacent spin-off of the Addicted franchise, so fans of that earlier story and of tender Asian boys' love drama will find resonance here, in the vein of Addicted and Given. The mood is wistful and charged, with melancholic undertones beneath the romantic pull. It sits within the danmei tradition of Chinese web romance, offering a compact, emotionally direct watch for viewers who want a romance that is both sweet and uneasy.
