## Synopsis

Hermanas, un amor compartido (2026-present) is a Mexican telenovela created by Silvia Cano for Las Estrellas, produced by TelevisaUnivision and adapted from the Turkish series Ağlama Anne. The story follows two sisters, Rebeca and Mónica, whose strong bond despite very different personalities is shattered when a secret from Rebeca's past resurfaces. Years earlier Rebeca abandoned her daughter Aura and left the child in Mónica's care. Now Rebeca returns determined to recover her, while Mónica refuses to lose the girl she has raised as her own. Adriana Louvier and Danna García lead the cast, with Osvaldo Benavides and Juan Martín Jáuregui in principal roles, alongside Diana Bracho, Jesús Ochoa and Alejandro Camacho. The engine of each episode is a tug of war over a child, fueled by guilt, family conflicts and the question of what truly makes a mother. Told as a single continuing story across eighty episodes, it unfolds with the emotional heat and cliffhanger rhythm typical of the form. Its tone is melodramatic, intimate and heartfelt, with a soapy urgency that rewards viewers who love family betrayal and redemption. Fans of Ağlama Anne, Rubí and La madrastra will find resonance here.
