## Synopsis

Please Excuse My Younger Brothers (2026-present) is a Japanese animated comedy series based on a manga, broadcast on Gunma TV, TOKYO MX, BS11 and Tochigi TV. High school sophomore Ito Narita (voiced by Naomi Ohzora) has been looking forward to a new father after her mother remarries, only to find four younger stepbrothers waiting at home. Among them are blunt but secretly caring Gen Narita (Toshiki Masuda), calm Raku Narita (Taku Yashiro), reclusive Syu, and cheerful little Rui. The engine of the show is the everyday friction of a crowded household: Ito wants her quiet life as an only child back, while her brothers each pull in different directions, and each episode is built from small domestic situations like chores, school mornings and sibling squabbles. Told as a single 24-episode season, the series moves at a comfortable pace in the slice of life tradition, with a warm, cozy and lightly comic register. Its gentle humor and emotional sincerity grow out of the blended family setting in present-day Japan. Fans of Fruits Basket, Sweetness and Lightning and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War will find resonance in its mix of household comedy and affectionate character dynamics.
