## Synopsis

Telugu (2025) is a Indian animated epic war series created by Anu Sikka for Netflix. Drawn from the Mahabharata, it dramatizes the eighteen-day battle of Kurukshetra, a war between brothers in which the cousins Pandavas and Kauravas clash on a field where no one is spared. Narrator Sanjay (voiced by Vinod Sharma) frames the conflict, while Krishn (Sahil Vaid), Arjun (Saumya Daan), Yudhisthir (Anamaya Verma), Duryodhan (Pawan Kalra) and Karn (Krutarth Trive) carry the moral weight of the story. The engine of the series is the ethical pressure each warrior faces: loyalty to family pulling against dharma, and vows that trap people on the wrong side. Each episode follows one of the eighteen warriors, so the season is built from many interior perspectives rather than a single hero's arc. It is presented as a single complete season of eighteen episodes, roughly thirty minutes each, with the epic set in an invented mythic India. The tone is dramatic and grave, with treachery and deceit made explicit and animated magic warfare adding spectacle. Fans of Game of Thrones, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama will find resonance in its blend of mythic scale, moral complexity and animated battle.
