## Synopsis

Battle of Fates (2026) is a South Korean reality competition series for Disney+, produced by JTBC and built around a test of fortune-telling itself. Korea's top forty-nine fate readers, masters of shamanism, saju, tarot and face reading, arrive ready to defend their reputations, and the contest asks whether anyone can truly read destiny. Jeon Hyun-moo, Park Na-rae, Park Ha-seon, Shindong and Kang Ji-young are among the featured names as the stages unfold. The engine is simple and pointed: pride, reputation and a prize hang on whether a reader's insight survives scrutiny. Across one season of ten roughly hour-long episodes, the format moves briskly between readings, tense reveals and confrontations, with an eerie, skeptical and theatrical tone that invites viewers to second-guess every prediction. Its mood sits between a mystical seance and a high-stakes game show, a close cousin of the elimination contests in Physical: 100 and the deception games of The Mole, made for viewers who enjoy strategy, superstition and watching bold claims collapse under pressure.
