## Synopsis

NCIS: New York (2026) is a US network police procedural spin-off series created by R. Scott Gemmill, Laura Eichhorn, Byron Balasco, Eric Brown and Stevie Borbolla for CBS. Special Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) returns to his hometown of New York City to join the NCIS field office, where he partners with the roguish agent Nick Schaeffer (Scott Caan) to build a new team. Their engine is a steady stream of high-stakes federal missions aimed at protecting one of the most vital cities and ports in the world, with the team tracking criminals and threats that cross naval and civilian lines. Jennifer Beals plays Robyn Wells, adding a senior anchor to the group, while Jacqueline Byers, Devin Druid and Shane Harper round out the younger agents. The series is an eight-episode season built around self-contained cases, with a light serial thread running beneath each one. Its tone is brisk, polished and action-tinged, with a grounded sense of camaraderie between colleagues who trust each other under pressure. Fans of NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and Law and Order will find the same case-driven rhythm, banter between partners and urban stakes here. The show plays as comfortable network crime television, rooted in its New York setting and its navy investigative tradition.
