## Synopsis

Deep In (2026) is a Chinese miniseries created by Tong Zi and Liu Junhao, a twelve-episode boys' love drama adapted from a web novel. The story follows an award-winning actor and an ambitious newcomer, played by Ollie as Zhen Xin and Li Shuyuan as Zhang Zhun, who are cast opposite each other in a daring romance film. As the shoot grinds forward, scene after scene of rehearsed longing and close physical work begins to bleed into their private lives, and each actor must decide whether the affection on screen is still a performance. Pressure from the industry, the demands of publicity, and the ambitions of a rising star raise the stakes with every episode. Yao Wang as Wu Rong and Li Dong as Chen Zhengsen add the pull of rival careers and older loyalties that complicate the pair's choices. The atmosphere is intimate and aching, with tones of longing, wistfulness, and quiet tension, and the drama lingers in glances, stolen moments, and unspoken confessions. Set in the contemporary Chinese entertainment world, it suits viewers who enjoy slow-burn romance and emotionally charged showbiz drama. Fans of Behind Your Touch and Heartstopper will find a similar appetite for tender, tension-filled connection. The series wraps up in a single season, leaving its emotional arc settled while keeping the lingering ache of its central attraction.
