## Synopsis

Payback (2026) is a Thai miniseries created by samK for ONE 31. Grieving debt collector Sun (Thanakorn Wichanukhor) enters the glamorous entertainment world with a single purpose, revenge, and is pulled into a dangerous attraction with a powerful executive. Jay (Jarukit Kaewmoonrueang), Sky (Paramee Thesdaroon) and Bank (Thanawat Shinawatra) orbit his scheme, and each step toward his target tangles him further in the industry's mix of image, money and secrets. The engine is the tension between a wound that drives him and a desire he cannot control, played out across ten long episodes of contemporary Bangkok showbiz. Its shape is a single continuing story rather than episodic cases, building steadily toward its ending. Set in present-day Thailand, the series carries the heat of a revenge thriller with the emotional pull of a romance, and its tone is intense, wistful and sometimes comforting. Viewers who enjoy Revenge, Succession and the Thai boys' love series that examine the entertainment business from behind the scenes will find much to savour here. Note the mature age rating, which signals adult themes throughout.
