## Synopsis

Riv4lries (2025) is an Italian teen school series created for Netflix, a single-season run of fifteen half-hour episodes that treats a middle school in Pisa as a small arena of status and rivalry. At the center is Teresa "Terry" Moscati (Kartika Malavasi), a new girl whose bold ideas unsettle a school where the cool kids have never been challenged. Pietro Maggi (Andrea Arru) sits at the heart of that established circle, and around him orbit classmates Claudio (Samuele Carrino), Dario (Edoardo Miulli), Alessio (Joseph Figueroa), Luca (Lorenzo Ciamei) and Marzia (Melissa Di Pasca). The engine is simple and concrete: each episode stages a fresh clash of pride, cliques, and schoolyard one-upmanship as Terry pushes against the hierarchy and the group scrambles to keep its footing. The tone is breezy and youthful, with a light comic energy and a sense of teenage stakes that feel enormous from the inside. Fans of Degrassi: The Next Generation, Heartstopper and Sex Education will find a similar appetite for school life, friendship, and social maneuvering, here filtered through an Italian setting and a crisp, accessible format that suits easy viewing.
