## Synopsis

Crew Girl (2026) is a Canadian teen romance drama series created by Vivian Lin for Netflix. Teagan Tao (Miku Martineau) is a rower who moves to a small town after a family scandal and joins an elite prep school's all-boys crew, where she must hold her own among the teammates. Her mother Ella Emerson-Tao (Jessica Paré) is a steadying but strained presence at home, while Josh Regis (Samuel Braun) and Cam Dillinger (Kyle Clark) bring rivalry and attraction into the boathouse. Coach Matt Hayden (Thomas Cadrot) pushes the crew toward its races, and each episode mixes practice grind, locker room tension and school social politics. Eight episodes make up a single season of this serialized, emotionally charged story. The tone is earnest and heartfelt, with flashes of betrayal and friendship that give the romance real stakes. Fans of Gossip Girl, Friday Night Lights and Elite will find resonance in its high school intrigue, competitive team setting and coming of age emotion. The show is set in a present day small town with a prep school backdrop.
