## Synopsis

Bodas S.A. (2026) is a Mexican comedy series created for ViX, a single-season run of ten half-hour episodes. Fannie (Gisselle Kuri) returns home and ends up working for her mother Silvia (Consuelo Duval), the country's top wedding planner, so the pair must run a chaotic wedding business under one roof. Their engine is simple: every episode brings a new wedding threatened by sabotage, a demanding client, or a rival, and the mother and daughter must keep the event together while their unresolved family wounds keep flaring between takes of the job. Supporting characters such as Coral (Danae Reynaud) and Julio (Ruy Senderos) add friction and warmth around the office and the household. The format is a light, continuing story rather than a case-of-the-week procedural, with a lively, breezy register that mixes sharp banter with tender moments about kinship. Set in contemporary Mexico, the show moves through the hectic world of ceremonies, receptions and last-minute crises. Fans of Jane the Virgin, Ugly Betty and Four Weddings and a Funeral will find the same blend of romantic chaos, family tension and warm humor.
