## Synopsis

Love Through a Prism (2026) is a Japanese animated romance series created for Netflix, produced by WIT STUDIO and set in early 1900s London. The story follows Lili Ichijoin (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki), a young Japanese woman who enrolls in a famous London art school, where she is pulled into a fierce rivalry with a gifted classmate, Kit Church (voiced by Koki Uchiyama). Their competition over canvases and critiques slowly shifts into something warmer, and the series builds its engine around that tension: each season-length arc is made of studio assignments, exhibitions, and the social expectations of an Edwardian city that does not expect a foreign woman to succeed. Supporting roles include Shinnosuke Kobayakawa (voiced by Yuki Kaji) and Dorothy Brown (voiced by Megumi Han), whose own ambitions and friendships shape the school world around the leads. The series runs for a single season of twenty episodes, each about twenty-six minutes long. Its tone is gentle and inspirational, with a bright, wistful register and an emphasis on craft and personal growth. Viewers who enjoy Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, Blue Period, and Bridgerton will find a kindred mix of rivalry, art, and period romance.
