## Synopsis

Don't Be Too Emotional is a Thai boys' love psychological romance miniseries adapted from a web novel and released as a single twelve-episode season. A football player is drawn into an unlikely friendship with a mysterious wish-granter whose dangerous gifts conceal secrets he cannot yet name. Each episode tightens the bond between the two leads while peeling back another layer of hidden history, so closeness and suspicion grow together. Jane Patrick and Jane Jennalee anchor the central pairing, with a supporting circle of teammates and rivals orbiting their world of friendship, loyalty and quiet jealousy. The mood is angsty and emotionally charged, with a slow-burn intensity that keeps the relationship volatile and tender at once. Stylishly rendered urban Thailand gives the story a contemporary, grounded feel, while the supernatural undercurrent adds unease. Viewers who enjoyed Bad Buddy or I Told Sunset About You will recognise the Thai romantic sensibility, but this series leans harder into psychological tension and emotional rawness. It suits those who want a romance where longing and danger are inseparable, and who are willing to sit with discomfort for the sake of an aching, bittersweet payoff.
