## Synopsis

Heated Rivalry (2025-present) is a Canadian romance drama series created by Jacob Tierney. Two of the biggest stars in Major League Hockey, Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), begin as rookies with a secret fling that grows into a years-long bond shaped by ambition, rivalry, and a pull neither fully understands. Scott Hunter (François Arnaud) and Rose Landry (Sophie Nélisse) orbit their lives, adding pressure from teammates, friends, and the wider world. The engine of the series is a constant tug between the sport they live for and the love they cannot ignore: every game, every press appearance, and every private hotel room becomes a test of how much hiding they can sustain. The single season of six episodes is one continuing story, built around hockey arenas, locker rooms, and quiet moments away from the cameras. Its tone is intimate, aching, and charged, with an adult frankness that keeps the romance grounded. Fans of Heartstopper, Call Me by Your Name, and Friday Night Lights will find resonance in its blend of emotional tenderness and competitive stakes, all set in a contemporary professional hockey world.
