## Synopsis

Baki-Dou: The Invincible Samurai (2026) is a Japanese animated action series created for Netflix, adapted from the long-running Baki manga and produced by TMS Entertainment and Studio 5. Protagonist Baki Hanma, voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki, leads the strongest fighters of the Underground Arena against a threat of historical proportions: the resurrected samurai Musashi Miyamoto, voiced by Naoya Uchida. The engine is pure escalation, with each bout pushing human bodies and willpower past any plausible limit while the combatants chase the question of who is truly strongest. Episodes are built around extended, blood-soaked duels that stretch across a single continuing storyline rather than standalone cases. The tone is brutal, absurd and gleefully theatrical, mixing hard-hitting violence with mythic reverence for Japan's great warriors. Set in a contemporary underground fighting world that collides with feudal legend, the series offers a raw, cinematic rush for viewers who love martial arts spectacle. Fans of Baki Hanma, Kengan Ashura and Hunter x Hunter will find resonance in its exaggerated combat and larger-than-life personalities.
