## Synopsis

The Edge of Horizon (2026) is a Thai historical romance miniseries created for ONE31, a Thai boys' love drama shaped by the lakorn tradition of Thai television. Prince Thinnakon (Theethuch Khummuang) and Phob (Jakkrasin Atsavatanachai) anchor the story, which opens in the early 1900s with a prince and his servant who were best friends as children. Their bond is pulled apart by rank and royal tradition, and the engine of the series is the pressure of a class divide that keeps two people from a love they cannot openly claim. Prince Chattrathon (Ponlawit Ketprapakorn) and Prince Vasin (Chartayodom Hiranyasthiti) round out the principal world of palace rivalries and obligations. The eleven-episode run moves between childhood memories and the lovers' late teens, so the past weighs on every present scene. Its atmosphere is melancholic and yearning, with period costume, palace intrigue and quiet restraint foregrounded over spectacle. The tone leans on heightened emotion, longing and sacrifice, and fans of The Untamed, 2gether: The Series and Bridgerton will find resonance in its forbidden romance and class tensions. Viewers searching for a Thai period romance with emotional weight will find it here.
