## Synopsis

The Friday the 13th Murders (2025) is an American true crime documentary miniseries created by Sam Evenson and Tracy Johnson Evans for Investigation Discovery. Across six episodes of roughly forty-one minutes each, it follows real killings that unfold on or around the infamous date, using reenactment alongside testimony from people who lived through the cases. Interviews with a sheriff from Carson County, a former girlfriend of a suspect named Kenneth Glenn Milner, a principal and his wife, and other locals form the spine of each story, with archive footage of the victims and the accused woven through. The engine of each episode is the slow reconstruction of who did what and why, set against the unease of a community that has begun to see the calendar itself as a warning. Rather than a single through line, the series works as a sequence of self-contained case files, each framed by the same ominous date. The tone is grim, measured and atmospheric, leaning on the folklore of bad luck to make real violence feel like a legend come true. Fans of The Keepers, Making a Murderer and The Jinx will find the same blend of investigative patience, testimony and unsettling true crime dread that defines the format.
