## Synopsis

This Korean crime drama follows a former gang boss who, after years of violence, finds himself back in his old neighborhood with nothing but debts and a fierce need to set things right. He teams up with an idealistic, underemployed aspiring lawyer who sees the apartment complex where they both live as a microcosm of institutional rot. Their plan is to quietly siphon the building's reserve fund, but each step pulls them deeper into a web of managerial fraud, petty rivalries, and local loyalties. The tone balances tense, gritty set pieces with sly, witty banter and moments of warmth among the residents, who slowly become allies. Themes of betrayal, redemption, and the cost of trust run throughout, and the story keeps asking whether one can do wrong for the right reasons. Its pacing is brisk, its heist mechanics are clever rather than flashy, and its emotional core rests on unlikely friendship and second chances. The ending lands on a bittersweet note, honoring the characters' growth without offering easy absolution. Viewers who enjoy grounded crime stories with heart, a sense of community, and a protagonist trying to outrun his past will find much to savor here.
