## Synopsis

Doménica Montero (2025-2026) is a Mexican telenovela created by Inés Rodena and Carlos Bardasano for Univision and Las Estrellas. Angelique Boyer plays Doménica, a respected businesswoman and philanthropist left at the altar on her wedding day, who retreats to one of her parents' old estates to recover from public humiliation. There she meets Luis Fernando Jiménez, played by Marcus Ornellas, owner of the neighboring estate, who also carries a painful past. Their explosive relationship is built on pride, misunderstandings and growing attraction, while land disputes between the two properties pull them into constant conflict. Supporting characters, including Scarlet Gruber as Kiara Salerno Montero and Brandon Peniche as Genaro Peña, add family rivalries and romantic complications. The series is a single fifty-episode run of sixty-minute episodes, following one continuing storyline in the classic soap opera tradition. Its tone is melodramatic and sentimental, with wounded pride, longing and the hope of rebuilding a life after heartbreak. Fans of La Usurpadora, Rubí and La Reina del Sur will find the same heightened emotions, rural romance and proud, wounded heroines that define Mexican telenovela storytelling.
