## Synopsis

DOC is a Mexican medical drama series that aired on Netflix in 2026 and ran for a single season of forty episodes of roughly forty-seven minutes each. Dr. Andrés Ferrara, played by Juan Pablo Medina, is a brilliant physician who wakes after an attack has wiped out twelve years of his memories, and he must piece together who he has become. Around him move fellow doctors Ximena Franco (Gabriela de la Garza), Julia Jasso (Stephanie Cayo) and Marco Santamaría (Iván Sánchez), whose own romances and rivalries tangle with his recovery. The engine of the show is a hospital where personal history and professional duty collide, as Andrés rebuilds relationships from fragments while a looming scandal over a new medication threatens the reputations of everyone he works with. Each episode mixes clinical emergencies with the emotional fallout of who was who before the attack. Told in a retrospective way that keeps returning to what Andrés has lost, the series builds a mood of unease and romantic longing, with a melodramatic register that will appeal to viewers who enjoy Latin American telenovela storytelling and the intimate workplace intrigue of Grey's Anatomy. Fans of Grey's Anatomy and Doc Martin will find resonance in its memory-driven story and professional entanglements.
