## Synopsis

Ligas (2026) is an Italian legal drama series created by Federico Baccomo for Sky and streamed on SkyShowtime. Luca Argentero plays Lorenzo Ligas, a brilliant but controversial lawyer whose reputation is as contested as his methods, and he is joined by idealistic intern Marta Carati (Marina Occhionero), who brings fresh conviction to the firm's caseload. Supporting roles include Sergio Romano as Michele Petrello, Flavio Furno as Paolo, and Eugenio di Fraia as PM Savinio, with Barbara Chichiarelli as Annamaria Pastori adding weight to the courtroom machinery. The engine of the show is a defense practice taking on desperate cases across Milan, where each hour pits Ligas against prosecutors, judges and the pressures of a city that rarely gives its underdogs a break. Ligas must win clients a fair hearing while confronting his own shortcomings, and the case-driven structure keeps the stakes personal and immediate. Presented as a six-episode season of roughly fifty-eight minutes each, the series has a sober, morally tense register with moments of wry humor and urban grit. Its contemporary Milanese setting and its focus on flawed advocacy will appeal to viewers who enjoy Suits, Better Call Saul and Gomorra.
