## Synopsis

Handsome Devil: Charming Killer (2026) is a American true crime docuseries created by Brian Ross for Paramount+. This three-part miniseries of roughly 48-minute episodes follows the case of Wade Wilson, a 25-year-old Florida man arrested for the brutal murders of two women, and traces how he unexpectedly became a fixation on social media. Its engine is the case itself, assembled from archive footage and on-camera testimony from people who appear as themselves: Wade Wilson's former girlfriend Mila Montanez, Cape Coral detective Nicholas Jones, assistant state attorneys Sara Miller and Andreas Gardiner, and State Attorney Amira Fox. Each episode moves through investigation, courtroom positioning, and the strange online afterlife that grew around the defendant, with the victims' families and his father Steve Testasecca offering a counterweight to the spectacle. The tone is sober, unsettling and investigative, with a fascination with how notoriety gets manufactured. Fans of Making a Murderer, The Jinx and Mindhunter will find resonance in its close attention to real people and the dark pull of a notorious case. Set in Florida, it is a compact, serious look at violence and public attention.
