## Synopsis

Wheel of Time: Origins (2021) is a short American animated fantasy series for Amazon Prime Video, a companion piece to the broader Wheel of Time saga. Its six episodes, each only about four minutes long, are carried by voice narrators Ida May, Rupert Degas, Steven Hartley and Evelyn Miller, who guide viewers through the deep past of the series' invented world. Rather than following a single protagonist through a sustained plot, the episodes are compact origin tales that explore the history, legends and recurring subjects behind the saga, letting the world's mythology unfold in small, self-contained pieces. The tone is measured and mythic, with a dark fantasy atmosphere and a sense of time and ancient power hanging over every story. Fans of The Witcher: Blood Origin, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and The Legend of Vox Machina will find resonance in its appetite for lore and world-building. The series is a light, accessible entry point for newcomers, offering a quick taste of an epic fantasy universe in brief, atmospheric installments that reward viewers already familiar with its mythology.
