## Synopsis

This Is a Gardening Show (2026) is an American comedy documentary docuseries created for Netflix, a six-episode run of roughly sixteen-minute installments. Zach Galifianakis hosts as himself, digging into the world of gardening by interviewing curious kids and eccentric experts who tend crops and talk about how the food on our plates gets grown. The engine is simple: the host's deadpan curiosity meets whatever odd soil, seed, or harvest question his guests bring, and each short episode follows that thread to a warm, goofy payoff. The overview frames the show as a funny, oddball celebration of food, so the mood stays breezy and affectionate rather than investigative. Its shape is a compact, self-contained season where every episode stands alone, making it a light, easy watch. Viewers who enjoy Somebody Feed Phil, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and Chef's Table will find a similar mix of celebrity-host curiosity and food-centered storytelling. The tone is playful, wholesome, and gently absurd, suited to families and comedy fans looking for a relaxed documentary about where our meals begin.
