## Synopsis

This Sea Will Overflow (2025-present) is a Turkish national-television family soap series created by Nehir Erdem and Ayse Ferda Eryilmaz for TRT 1. Its core is a woman, Esme Furtuna (Deniz Baysal), who stands firm through hardship, and a passionate man, Adil Koçari (Ulaş Tuna Astepe), who struggles against the waves and storms of the Black Sea. Eleni Miryano (Ava Yaman) and Oruç Furtuna (Burak Yörük) add further emotional pressure, while Zarife Furtuna (Yeşim Ceren Bozoğlu) anchors the household. A stranger drawn into the endless war between two mortal enemies becomes the lens through which the ups and downs of mountains, sea and the human soul unfold. Each episode is built from family confrontations, shifting loyalties and romance tested by a rivalry that refuses to end. The story runs as one continuing serialized drama across two seasons, with a long-form episode runtime that lets the melodrama breathe. Set in a remote Black Sea coastal community where fishing life and rough weather shape daily routines, the series carries an earnest, emotional, wistful register and a sense of resilience under pressure. Fans of Kara Sevda, Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne? and Ask-i Memnu will find resonance in its blend of generational feud, romance and sweeping melodrama.
