## Synopsis

The Fabulous (2022) is a South Korean romantic comedy miniseries created by Kim Jeong-hyeon, Kim Ji-hee and Im Jin-soon for Netflix. Four best friends chase their dreams in the cutthroat world of fashion, and the engine of the story is their drive to build careers while balancing demanding jobs against romantic dilemmas and wild nights on the town. Chae Soo-bin plays Pyo Ji-eun, Minho plays Ji Woo-min, and Lee Sang-un plays Joseph, with Park Hee-jeong, Kim Min-kyu and Shin Dong-mi in principal supporting roles. Each of the eight roughly hour-long episodes braids workplace pressure with friendship and love, so ambition and attraction keep colliding. The story is set in contemporary Seoul, where glossy offices, runways and late-night bars frame the characters' hopes. Its tone is bright, breezy and dazzling, with a hint of wistful longing beneath the polish. Fans of Sex and the City, Girls and Hospital Playlist will find resonance in its blend of youthful romance, professional striving and close female friendship.
