## Synopsis

2 Good 2 Be True (2022) is a Philippine teleserye romantic comedy created for TV5 and Kapamilya Channel, a single-season series of 130 episodes that runs about 31 minutes each. Kathryn Bernardo plays Ali, an employee of a real estate magnate, and Daniel Padilla plays Eloy, a car mechanic whose first encounter with her goes badly. Both of them are hiding their true personas, and the engine of the show is the escalating deception that grows between them as their paths keep crossing. Each episode builds on misunderstandings, disguises and the small lies that threaten to unravel the romance, while the family circles around them add pressure and warmth. Ronaldo Valdez, Gloria Diaz and Gelli De Belen round out a cast of relatives and rivals who push the leads toward honesty. Set in contemporary Metro Manila, the series moves with a breezy, playful energy and a hopeful, sweet tone. Its staging of first impressions, class contrast and disguised identities gives it the feel of a feel good romcom. Viewers who love the Philippine romance formula, or fans of Meant to Be and Be Careful with My Heart, will find the same comic warmth and emotional stakes here.
