## Synopsis

Our Blues (2022) is a South Korean slice of life drama miniseries created by Noh Hee-kyung for tvN, produced by Studio Dragon and GTist. Across twenty episodes, it follows many people who live and work on bustling Jeju island, with Lee Byung-hun as Lee Dong-seok, Shin Min-a as Min Seon-a, and Cha Seung-won as Choi Han-su among its principal figures, alongside Kim Hye-ja as Kang Ok-dong and Uhm Jung-hwa as Ko Mi-ran. Rather than a single plot, each thread is a small life story: a divorced woman seeking a fresh start, older characters testing their second chances, and younger people navigating first heartbreaks. Episodes move between these interlocking lives, letting the bonds of island community carry the emotional weight. The series is a tvN prestige romance with a meditative pace, its ocean views and sun-baked streets framing a mood that is wistful, tender, and honest about disappointment. Its tone swings between sweet and bitter, with melancholy undercut by warmth and humor. Fans of Itaewon Class, Reply 1988, and Hotel del Luna will find resonance in its mix of romance, ensemble storytelling, and quiet emotional realism. It is a single self-contained season of twenty episodes, rewarding viewers who enjoy character-led drama about love at every age.
