## Synopsis

That '90s Show (2023-2024) is a US multi-camera sitcom created by Gregg Mettler, Bonnie Turner, Lindsay Turner and Terry Turner for Netflix, a spinoff of That '70s Show. Callie Haverda plays Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, who spends a summer with her grandparents in Point Place, Wisconsin. Kurtwood Smith as Red Forman and Debra Jo Rupp as Kitty Forman keep a stern but affectionate eye on the household as Leia bonds with a new generation of neighborhood kids, including Ashley Aufderheide as Gwen Runck and Mace Coronel as Jay Kelso. The engine of the show is the everyday collision of first crushes, rebellious summer schemes and generational friction inside a familiar living room, with each episode built from short, quick comic beats. Set in 1995 small-town Midwest America, the series captures the Gen-X attitudes toward labels, music and corporate culture that colored the era. The tone is breezy, warm and mischievous, with a feelgood sensibility that rewards viewers who remember the original. Across two seasons and twenty-six episodes, the sitcom stays light and nostalgic. Fans of That '70s Show, Freaks and Geeks and The Wonder Years will find resonance in its coming of age comedy and suburban charm.
