## Synopsis

Glitch (2022) is a South Korean science fiction mystery miniseries created by Gin Han-sai and Roh Deok and released on Netflix. Across ten episodes of roughly fifty-seven minutes each, a young woman, Hong Ji-hyo (Jeon Yeo-bin), joins forces with a UFO enthusiast to investigate the sudden disappearance of her boyfriend. Their search for him, handled as a single continuing story, pulls them into a wide conspiracy in which each lead raises new questions and the people around them become harder to read. The engine of the show is the push and pull between a personal search and an expanding web of secrets, with suspicion creeping into friendships and alliances. Presented as a self-contained limited series, it builds a tense, paranoid atmosphere through its investigative momentum and shadowy uncertainty, with a playful undercurrent from the odd-couple partnership. Set in contemporary South Korea, it draws on the tradition of Korean thrillers and genre television. Fans of The X-Files, Stranger and Dark will find resonance in its blend of conspiracy, suspense and character-driven unease.
