## Synopsis

Till The End of The Moon (2023) is a Chinese web series xianxia romance created by Kuk Kok-Leung for Youku. Bai Lu plays Li Susu, a cultivator sent back in time to become Ye Xiwu, the mortal third daughter of General Ye, and Luo Yunxi plays Tantai Jin, the hostage prince destined to become a demon lord. Her mission is to destroy him before he massacres many, but the engine of the series is the tension between that duty and the past she uncovers as a witness to his rise. Each episode of this forty-episode run layers palace intrigue, cultivator politics and a marriage built on suspicion. The setting is an ancient-style world where demons hold power over cultivators and mortals, rendered with costume drama splendor. The tone is wistful and romantic, with a slow-building ache around fate and mistrust. Fans of The Untamed, Eternal Love and Outlander will find resonance in its time travel romance and enemies-to-lovers pull.
