## Synopsis

Elite Short Stories: Samuel Omar (2021) is a Spanish mystery comedy miniseries created for Netflix. Set during the winter holidays at the Las Encinas school, away from classes, its three ten-minute stories follow students as they celebrate Christmas. Itzan Escamilla plays Samuel Garcia and Omar Ayuso plays Omar Shanaa, with Claudia Salas, Georgina Amorós and David Zayas in supporting roles. Each episode is a self-contained vignette, so the miniseries reads as a compact anthology of intimate, offbeat incidents rather than one continuing arc. The tone is light and playful, with comic undercurrents and small puzzles that unfold against festive, privileged school life. Its run is brief, one season of three episodes, and it is best approached as a quick, self-contained diversion. Fans of Elite, Black Mirror and Russian Doll will find resonance in its blend of teen drama, short-form storytelling and wry, mystery-tinged humour. The show is a palatable single-sitting viewing, built around holiday moods and the way a small cast of characters reveals itself in short bursts.
